The Notre Dame football team is looking to stack elite talent for their 2023 recruiting class, and they could end up with quite the group.

Head coach Marcus Freeman has had a strong start to his career at the helm of the Notre Dame football program. He has done a great job building his 2023 recruiting class, currently ranked No. 1 in the country by 247Sports.com, and we could be seeing the start of something special in South Bend.

The Irish are one of the more consistent programs in all of college football, as they continuously win ten or more games, and fight for a spot in the College Football Playoff. The problem is that they are not considered a legitimate title contender from year to year, and the years they get into the CFP, they are one-and-done.

Freeman and his staff are going to be tasked with changing that narrative surrounding the program, and they can do so by bringing in a historic 2023 recruiting class. The group that has already committed is a strong one, including a five-star prospect, but there is still a ton of work to be done.
