Previewing the Notre Dame football Gold Team

Gold Team Offense

  • QB: Pyne, Angeli
  • RB: Price, Tyree, Velotta
  • WR: Thomas, Eifert, Ratigan, Rogers, Lenzy, Wilkins Jr., Cook
  • TE: Mayer, Bauman, Sanfro, Selna
  • OL: Alt, Correll, Carmody, Spindler, Johnson, Tanona, Coogan, Schrauth

Pyne will play for both teams in this one, but Angeli is going to get some reps, as the program wants to see what they have in the true freshman. Jadarian Price will get a ton of looks at running back, and the combination of Mayer and Bauman should dominate at TE. The offensive line could be punishing.

Gold Team Defense

  • DL: Cross III, Osafo-Mensah, Rubio, Ekwonu, Gobaira, Ford, Ademilola, Keannaaina
  • LB: Kiser, Sneed, Kollie, Ziegler, Bauer, Gutzmer
  • CB: Mickey, Riley, Bellamy, Hart
  • S: Joseph, Watts, Auer, Brown, Graves
  • Specialists: Salerno, Bryan, Vinson

This is a group that should be fun to watch on Saturday, as they boast two young star linebackers in Prince Kollie and Jayden Sneed. We get our first look at Brandon Joseph, an All-American transfer replacing Kyle Hamilton, and there should be some outstanding competition up front along the defensive line.
