The Notre Dame football team saw Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa emerge during his time in South Bend, and now, he gets to learn from the best at the next level.

During his time with the Notre Dame football program, Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa proved to be a versatile piece up front along the defensive line. Tagovailoa-Amosa began his career on the inside, before kicking to the outside this past season, playing at a very high level, and crafting his art for the NFL.

However, despite thoughts of him going on Day 3 of the 2022 NFL Draft, he did not hear his name called, and instead had to sign on as an undrafted free agent. That proved to be fine for the big fella, as his Father’s favorite team came calling, the Las Vegas Raiders.

For those who do not know, Tagovailoa-Amosa lost his father back in August before the season began. He dedicated his season to his dad, Tuli, and now, he gets to put on the uniform of the team his father loved the most.

For Tagovailoa-Amosa, Las Vegas is the best-case scenario for him at this point.

Notre Dame football star lands in Las Vegas

When the former Notre Dame football star finally gets to Las Vegas, he will join a defensive end room that has some of the best in the game. Chandler Jones was a free agent pickup of the Raiders this offseason, and is a former All-Pro player, while Maxx Crosby is one of the best young defensive players in the NFL.

Daily, Tagovailoa-Amosa is going to get to pick the brains of some of the best edge rushers the NFL has to offer, so you could not think of a better way for a UDFA to start his NFL career.

Not only is Tagovailoa-Amosa going to a great spot, but the Raiders are getting the kind of versatile player they need along the defensive line. They have reshuffled the deck at defensive tackle the last two offseasons and brought in numerous ends, so maybe, with time, Tagovailoa-Amosa can be a long-term player in the Silver and Black.
