Playmaking abilities

To win the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year, you have to make plays, just look at what Micah Parsons did for the Dallas Cowboys last season. In Hamilton, the Ravens are getting a ball-hawking safety who is not afraid to make plays, and you can expect him to be all over the field in Charm City as a rookie.

The one thing Hamilton is known for is playing with no fear, and I believe he will not have any kind of rookie headache in Year 1 with the Ravens. He will go into that locker room and establish himself as a leader, and in turn, his confidence will bleed over into the field, where I expect him to lead all rookies in interceptions next season.

No matter if he wins the award or not, Hamilton is in a perfect spot to start his NFL career, and should enjoy success both individually, and as a team early on. Baltimore is a Super Bowl contending team nearly every season, and with Hamilton in the secondary, they may have found one of their final pieces of the puzzle.
