When it comes to the 2022 Notre Dame football team, the offensive line is going to be elite and could boast multiple All-Americans.

The 2022 Notre Dame football team is going to be an exciting one to watch, especially on the offensive side of the ball. The team boasts the No. 1 tight end in the country in Michael Mayer, a ton of talent at running back, and the wide receiver group, although thin, has several elite playmakers on the outside.

Overall, the Irish are going to put up a ton of points, but it will be the most un-exciting part of the offense that makes it go. That is the offensive line, a group that is one of the best in the country, and boasts multiple players who are going to go on and play at the next level.

Last season, we got to see the emergence of Joe Alt at offensive tackle, and with Blake Fisher coming back after an injury robbed him of nearly the entire season, the Irish are set at OT for the long haul. Notre Dame football also has great depth at offensive guard, while center Jarrett Patterson may be the best in the country at his position group.

In the end, this is going to be a special group and one that could bring home the Joe Moore Award.

To say that this group is going to be special may be an understatement, as they could have multiple All-Americans on their roster. Patterson is going to be in line for the honor as he is rated the best center in the country, and Alt was a Freshman All-American last year.

Blake Fisher earned the starting left tackle job at Notre Dame as a true freshman last year, which is a testament to how good he is. Both tackles could be All-Americans next season, and as only true sophomores, the Irish are set at the bookend positions for years to come.

In the end, football games are won in the trenches, and when it comes to the 2022 Notre Dame football team, the offensive line is a strength. They also have the best offensive line coach in the country on their staff, so when all is said and done, multiple players could be named All-American this season.
