The Notre Dame football team saw six players signed as UDFA after the 2022 NFL Draft, and we ranked which has the best chance to make the team.

Only two Notre Dame football program members were selected during the 2022 NFL Draft, as Kyle Hamilton went in the first round, and Kyren Williams went on Day 3. However, six members of the 2021 Irish squad ended up inking deals with NFL teams as undrafted rookie free agents.

Here we look at those six, and which ones have the best chance of cracking their team’s 53-man Week 1 roster.

Notre Dame football: Ranking which 2022 rookie UDFA will make the team

No. 6: Isaiah Pryor, LB, New Orleans Saints

After starting his college career at Ohio State, Pryor made the jump to South Bend and ended up being a key member of the Irish defense. A safety for Notre Dame, he will make the move to linebacker at the next level and has a lot of work to do if he is going to make this roster out of camp.

New Orleans is not expected to be great in 2022, as they lost Sean Payton, and have revamped the roster a bit, so Pryor should get a long look. If he makes the roster out of camp, it would be shocking, but he should stay on as a practice squad player.

No. 5: Drew White, LB, Washington Commanders

One player I expected to possibly go on Day 3 was Drew White, a do-everything linebacker for the Irish who joins the Washington Commanders to start his NFL career. White was a tackling machine for the Irish and should stay in the middle at the next level, with Washington being a solid landing spot for him.

The Commanders are another team revamping their roster, but they have a defensive genius at head coach in Ron Rivera, who will love White’s style of play.
