Notre Dame football: Imagining what the WR group could be in 2023

The Veterans

While the 2022 class yielded only one wide receiver, the 2021 class had plenty of talent at the position group, including Styles Jr. This is a kid who took advantage of every opportunity he was given as a true freshman, and now, he goes into Year 2 as a potential breakout star for the Irish.

However, Styles was not the only wideout to come in, as talent like Deion Colzie, and Jayden Thomas both committed to the Irish. Colzie was a higher-rated prospect per 247Sports.com, and while both he and Thomas did not play much as true freshmen, they will be expected to play a much larger role in 2022.

In 2023, this group will be in their third season on campus and should lead a position group that could be one of the deeper units in the country. Colzie, Styles, and Thomas have the skill set to be a tremendous trio on the outside and will be expected to take this position group to the next level in terms of production.
