At long last, college football is nearly back. Here’s how to watch Notre Dame Fighting Irish football throughout the 2022 season.

Play like a champion today! Football is almost back – which means we finally have our Saturday rituals back. Here’s how to watch Notre Dame Fighting Irish football in 2022.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish Outlook 2022

Out goes Brian Kelly and in comes Marcus Freeman. Freeman’s debut wasn’t what anyone wanted, as the Irish blew a 21-point lead in the Fiesta Bowl. But he’s now had a full offseason and Irish fans are excited for a new era.

Three years, three quarterbacks for the Irish. After Ian Book and Jack Coan, offensive coordinator Tommy Reese will now utilize either Drew Pyne or Tyler Buchner (or both).

The good news is, whoever gets the nod will be playing behind an exceptional offensive line that features a potential Rimington Trophy winner in Jarrett Patterson.

The other good news is either Pyne or Buchner will have the luxury of throwing the ball to tight end Michael Mayer. Mayer caught 71 passes for 840 yards and seven touchdowns in 2021.

Notre Dame Football Schedule 2022

When it comes to Notre Dame, we know that 90 percent of the games will be aired on NBC. But week one’s game against Ohio State is on ABC, as is the November 12 game against Navy.

Overall, the Irish have a pretty tough schedule. Not that they won’t be favored in the majority of their games.

They begin the year at Ohio State before two gimme home games against Marshall and Cal. Things pick up after that, with the Irish traveling to North Carolina to take on the Tar Heels before a bye week and then a Las Vegas clash with BYU.

Add in an early-November meeting with Clemson and a regular-season finale against USC and you’ve got yourself a schedule.

Still, a 10-win regular season seems like a forgone conclusion.
