Notre Dame football: Do Irish QBs show up when the lights are brightest?

Do Irish QBs Struggle or Play Better in Big Games?

Average in losses: 5.8/10

QB play was adequate though slightly underwhelming, however, additional factors influenced the game that was out of his control.

Average in wins: 6.9/10

QB play was above average in most circumstances, and in every case, he made at least one play that was a major contributing factor towards the victory. The QB additionally limited his mistakes to a point where they did not change the course of the game negatively.

Following my research, I have concluded that Notre Dame QBs are usually up to the task when they play in big-ticket games. Of course, they struggle in losses more than wins, but in almost every circumstance, circumstances outside of his control led to Irish losses. Hopefully, Tyler Buchner can deliver the first 10/10 score in a win at Ohio State to open the year.
