The Notre Dame football team will take on Ohio State tonight in the Horseshoe, and here are some bold predictions for the matchup.

The Notre Dame football team has a tough task ahead of them in Week 1, as they have to travel to the Horseshoe to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes. For the Irish, this is an incredible early-season test and one that will help determine how good this team is going to be in Marcus Freeman’s first season as head coach.

Ohio State goes into this game ranked as the No. 2 team in the country, and for good reason, as they have one of the more well-balanced rosters going into the 2022 season. CJ Stroud is an absolute beast at the quarterback spot, and he showed last year that he can beat a defense in so many ways.

However, the party does not stop there, as Jaxon Smith-Njigba could be the first wide receiver taken in the 2023 NFL Draft, and Paris Johnson Jr. could be the first offensive lineman. The defense boasts veteran talent on all three levels, so for the Irish to come away with the victory, it is going to take a total team effort.

Here, we take a look at some bold predictions for this Week 1 matchup.
