The Notre Dame football team takes on Ohio State in primetime in Week 1, and here is all the info you need for this early-season matchup.

The time has come to kick off the 2022 college football season, and the Notre Dame football team has a tough task ahead of them in Week 1. Instead of scheduling a cupcake in Week 1,  the Irish decided to roll the dice against one of the best teams in the country, the Ohio State Buckeyes.

This will be an incredible early-season test for new head coach Marcus Freeman, who will be making his regular season coaching debut against his alma mater. Freeman was a star linebacker for the Buckeyes before a short stint in the NFL and got his coaching start at Ohio State as well.

Now, he becomes the enemy of the state and brings into Ohio Stadium a Notre Dame football team looking to shed their reputation of coming up short in big games. His first test, a potential College Football Playoff contender in the Buckeyes.

Here is how you can catch Notre Dame football online tonight:

Who: Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Ohio State

When: Saturday, September 3, 2022

Time: 7:30 PM ET

Where: Ohio Stadium, Columbus, Ohio

Television Station: ABC

Live Stream: FuboTV

Notre Dame football has a brand new quarterback in Tyler Buchner, who beat out Drew Pyne this summer and has the ability to hurt teams with his arm, and his legs. Of course, the big question is whether or not he will be at full strength along his offensive line, as Jarrett Patterson has been dealing with a foot injury the past few weeks.

Overall, this has the makings of being an instant classic right out of the gate this college football season, though betting markets like the Buckeyes to throttle the Irish inside Ohio Stadium tonight. Notre Dame football is certainly going to bring it, so they should cover the spread, and a win would be a miracle to start the 2022 campaign.
