The Notre Dame football team takes on North Carolina in Week 4, and here is all the info you need for this early-season matchup.

Notre Dame football (1-2) will travel to Chapel Hill this weekend to take on the undefeated North Carolina Tar Heels. The Irish come in as a slight underdog this weekend with North Carolina being a 1.5-point favorite. This will be a big test for the Irish defense when they face a very prolific Tar Heel offense.

This will be a match-up of good-on-good, Notre Dame’s defense vs North Carolina’s offense. North Carolina will be led by red-shirt freshman quarterback, Drake Maye. The Tar Heel’s offense comes into the game averaging 51.3 points a game and a total of 547 yards a game.

This will be by far the best defense that the Tar Heels have faced this year when the Irish come to town. Who will win the match-up between both of these teams’ strengths on Saturday? Here’s all the information on how you can tune into this road test for the Irish.

Here is how you can catch Notre Dame football vs North Carolina:

Who: Notre Dame Fighting Irish at North Carolina Tar Heels

When: Saturday, September 24, 2022

Time: 3:30 PM ET

Where: Kenan Memorial Stadium, Chapel Hill, North Carolina

Television Station: ABC

Live Stream: FuboTV

Notre Dame football will look to build off of last week’s 24-17 win vs Cal. Quarterback Drew Pyne will be making his second career start and first start on the road. He is looking to get off to a way better start than he did last week vs Cal. Look for offensive coordinator Tommy Rees to get Pyne settled into the game early with some easy completions to build some confidence.

This will be a battle of bad-on-bad when the Irish offense faces the Tar Heels defense. Both teams are hoping this is a get-right game for their side of the football. For Irish fans, we are all hoping it is a get-right game for the Notre Dame offense as they look to take a step in the right direction and build some positive momentum as they head into the by-week next weekend.

Overall, this game will be won in the trenches and Notre Dame must dominate both sides of the ball up-front.

I think it is a game that Notre Dame has a shot to win but the defense has to play lights out and force a couple of turnovers and give the Irish offense a couple of short fields to put a couple of touchdowns on the board. This will be another 4-quarter game that will come down to another last-minute drive. Will the Irish prevail on Saturday? Tune in to find out.
