The Notre Dame football team takes on Stanford in Week 7, and here are the best bets you can lay on the Irish in this matchup.

Since beginning the year with an 0-2 record, the Notre Dame football team has bounced back in a big way and is coming off two straight tough victories against good opponents. First, a road win against UNC, and then, they took care of business against the No. 16-ranked team in the country in the BYU Cougars.

Now, they set their sights on a rival, as the Irish will take on the Stanford Cardinal in front of a packed house inside Notre Dame Stadium Saturday night. Here, we take a look at the betting odds for this matchup and give some insight as to how you may want to bet on this game in Week 7.

Best Notre Dame football Bets Week 7

Devon Platana over at Fandeul feels that you should roll with the Irish giving the points (-17.5), in this one, as the expectation is that they will not only cover, but hit the over as well at 53.5. The spread for this game has continued to go up throughout the week, and by the time we get to kickoff, this could be at 20 points, so make sure to lock in at the lower number.

Another bet to take a look at is anytime touchdown scorer, as you get +120 odds if Logan Diggs finds the end zone. The Irish love to spread the ball around to their running backs, and Diggs is bound to break one this weekend against the Cardinal.

Overall, this is another opportunity for the Irish to get it done in primetime, and to do so against a tough rival in the Stanford Cardinal. Tanner McKee is a solid quarterback and is likely to get his at some point in this game, but if the Irish play the way they have the previous two weeks, they should win going away.
