The Notre Dame football team takes on UNLV in Week 8 of the 2022 college football season, and here are some best bets for the Irish against the Rebels.

On Saturday afternoon, the Notre Dame football team will try to get right against the UNLV Rebels, a team they should be easily. The Irish are coming off a shocking primetime loss to Stanford this past weekend, their second such loss of the season, so this is a big game for first-year head coach Marcus Freeman.

Between comeback losses, and losses to bad teams, Freeman has to show he can put teams away, and that could be a problem against a UNLV team that is solid when they have their starting quarterback healthy. Doug Blumfield is still in concussion protocol, and likely a game-time decision, so if he plays, this Rebels team could cause some issues.

Best Notre Dame football Bets Week 8

Over at BetSided, Reed Wallach likes UNLV to cover the 24.5 points, the spread at the time of his piece, as he feels Marcus Freeman has yet to show he can cover big spreads. I like that pick, as the Irish tend to come out flat, and if Doug Blumfield actually plays in this game for the Rebels, he is going to keep them in it.

One bet I like in this game is the under, as FanDuel Sportsbook currently has it listed at 47.5, and I do not believe that many points are going to be scored on Saturday. I like the Irish to win this game by the score of 31-10, which hits the under, and allows UNLV to cover the spread, which currently sits at 26.5 on the website.

If I were betting on this game, take UNLV with the points, take the under, and if you want, put them together for a Single Game Parlay. This is a game that could go either way, as we do not see what Notre Dame football team we are going to see from week to week, but even healthy, I do not see them being 27 points better than anybody right now.
