Both of these teams have struggled against the spread thus far, with Notre Dame going 3-11 and Boston College going 4-10. That being said, I love the Irish tonight and think they’ll earn a convincing victory.
The Irish have a huge advantage offensively, ranking 38th in effective field goal percentage (54.2%) while Boston College is a pathetic 326th (45.3%). Notre Dame protects the ball well and the Eagles have a turnover problem, which gives an even larger edge to the Irish.
