As we stated a couple of weeks ago, Leonard Moore is a massive commitment for the Notre Dame football program. Expected to be one of the biggest risers for me in the class of 2024, Moore is already on his way up.

Moore moved from a 3-star to a 4-star in the 247Sports composite rankings thanks to his upward movement in the Rivals rankings. After initially being unranked in the Rivals250 rankings, Moore made the leap to 153rd overall. I’m not surprised by this movement, and if he follows up his incredible junior year with a solid senior season, he’ll continue the upward ascent.

However, Moore wasn’t the only Notre Dame football commit to receive a positive bump as IOL Peter Jones climbed nine spots to 90th overall. In addition, Cam Williams jumped up 60 places to 42nd overall in the Rivals250 rankings, perfectly in line with how we view Cam.

Aneyas Williams and CJ Carr dropped ever-so-slightly, but I expect those two to also finish high in the rankings. CJ should remain a top 30 player when all is said and done, and Aneyas should stay within the top 100 or so in the nation. So regardless of what you think of the program’s current state, Notre Dame football has some studs committed in 2024.

The Irish will look to add more top talent to the class of 2024 as they’re trending in the right direction for numerous prospects. Those they’ve been trending for on the defensive side of the football should be in good shape with the recent coaching changes. The only concern is ensuring the current offensive commits stay locked in and the new coaches hit the recruiting trail as hard as the previous coaches.

Either way, the Irish are currently ranked in the top 5 of the 247Sports class of 2024 rankings. With how good their current commits are and the shape they’re in for other top commits, I expect another top-10 finish for the Irish.
