Former Notre Dame Fighting Irish tight end Tommy Tremble had his best game of the year for the Carolina Panthers while also putting up quite the highlight.

Tremble’s team fell to 0-6 on the season, but the former Notre Dame football star did everything he could to try and help them topple the Miami Dolphins.

They ended up losing 42-21 but Tremble had two catches for 25 yards. It was his first multicatch game of 2023. It followed his first touchdown of the season last week.

What made headlines however, was that after one of his catches, Tremble got some air as he headed down field. He hurdled one potential tackler and avoided another before finally being brought down.

On the year, Tommy Tremble has 4 catches for 41 yards and a touchdown.

  • The University of Notre Dame is soon going to be looking for a new athletic director and school president as Father John Jenkins announced on Friday that he’ll be stepping down at the end of the academic school year. The amount of changes in the school’s leadership and coaches over the last few years has certainly been interesting to say the least.
  • 2026 Notre Dame Fighting Irish recruit Cam Thomas was one of many who were on campus to watch the football team take on the USC Trojans on Saturday. It’s hard to think that anyone who took in the Golden Domers’ game wasn’t quite impressed by what they saw. Thomas was certainly one of those who loved it and he took to social media to make sure that everyone knew it.
  • The Notre Dame Fighting Irish hockey team did not have a particularly good weekend. In fact, they lost their only game of the weekend to the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Not only did they lose, but they were shut out 3-0 and fell to 1-2 on the season.
