The Notre Dame Football team looks like it made quite the impression on 4-star safety Ivan Taylor and one analyst thinks he’s all but a Golden Domer.

Notre Dame Football has had some very good recruiting weekends of late. The last time the Fighting Irish won a game at home, they also secured the commitment of tight-end prospect James Flanigan. Could the win over Pittsburgh give Marcus Freeman and company another talented addition?

Ivan Taylor has long been someone the Notre Dame Football team has had a decent shot at. That was evidenced by the fact that he was in South Bend for the game against the Panthers.

Now 247Sports analyst Tom Loy has put in a Crystal Ball for Taylor to Notre Dame Football. Though the analyst is being a bit cagey about the whole thing on social media.

Loy calls Taylor an “elite, top of the board prospect” before posting a photo of the talented 4-star safety. The good news here is that during this time of year, when a Crystal Ball is entered for a player, it’s usually a matter of days until a player announces where he’s planning on going to school.

Notre Dame Football leading for Ivan Taylor

It’s worth pointing out that the Fighting Irish got a Crystal Ball for Flanigan and he pulled the trigger just a few days later. Notre Dame Football fans are likely hoping the same thing happens when it comes to the West Orange High star.

Other recruiting services aren’t so sure that Taylor to South Bend is a done deal. Rivals still has the Irish and the Florida Gators vying for the services of the safety.

If Notre Dame Football wins this particular derby, it means they have beat out the likes of Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Michigan, and Ole Miss among others.
