The Notre Dame Fighting Irish women’s basketball added another insane level of talented player in center Kate Koval who officially signed on Tuesday.
The rich got richer in a big way on Tuesday. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish women’s basketball team, already one of the best in the country added a talented player that’s going to help them establish a kind of dynasty.
On Tuesday, 5-star center Kate Koval officially signed with Notre Dame.
The 6-foot-5 native of Ukraine was MVP of the Nike Tournament of Champions in December, and put up 38 points and 16 rebounds in the Geico Nationals semifinals last spring. She’s the reigning New York Gatorade Player of the Year and a Naismith All-American.

The Notre Dame Football team hasn’t had the kind of season people hoped, but there is one way they could salvage the 2023 campaign. If they could beat Brian Kelly and LSU in a bowl game, they’d go a long way towards repairing some broken hearts.
More and more projections have the two teams facing off in bowl season. Obviously the former coach going up against the Golden Domers is something that quite a few people would find intriguing.
That’s why there’s quite a bit of steam rising showing that it will be the matchup. Now it’s all about just what bowl the two teams will square off in.
