Sometimes, things just work out in a way no one ever thought they would. Notre Dame fans were not too happy with Brian Kelly when he left them for LSU in the manner that he did, but it seems like he got what was coming to him, as he is now no longer the coach for the Tigers.

The writing was on the wall, and LSU decided to make the move and fire Brian Kelly. The funny part is that Kelly was given what could be looked at as a bad omen earlier Sunday morning, before he was fired, that he may have wanted to listen to.

As Kelly was going into the football facilities Sunday morning after the Tigers' embarrassing loss to No. 3 Texas A&M at home in Death Valley, he suddenly was unable to get in. All the buildings in the facilities are equipped with fingerprint identification, so when Kelly tried to use his fingerprint to get in, it suddenly didn't work.

Ultimately, it was just a glitch in the system, but the fact that later that day, Kelly's fingerprint was actually wiped from the system because he was fired is something that you just have to laugh at.

This has to absolutely make Fighting Irish fans' day as Kelly thought he was leaving Notre Dame because LSU was better in every way, but instead, he never made it to the College Football Playoff, and never won a National Championship.

Notre Dame, on the other hand, since Kelly left, has made it to the College Football Playoff and the National Championship, but fell just short of the win. To add on to that, the Fighting Irish are at least still in play to make the playoff this season with only two losses that came to two now Top 20 teams in the country, whereas LSU now has three losses and no head coach.

According to Notre Dame fans, Kelly got what was coming to him, and Notre Dame is happy to sit back with Marcus Freeman and continue to have elite seasons under him.
