Brian Kelly reminds Notre Dame fans why they're happy he's far away from South Bend

Blaming his players and not taking any responsibility of his own is exactly the reason Notre Dame is happy that Brian Kelly is gone.

Brian Kelly seems to be off his rocker, again, at LSU, this time coming after a tough loss to Ole Miss, ending the Tigers' undefeated campaign. After losing to Ole Miss this past weekend, Kelly was pretty quick to place blame on everyone else but himself for the outcome of the game.

Kelly's post-game press conference really made no sense as his first victim of blame was quarterback Garrett Nussmeier, who is the backbone of the LSU offense. However, he quickly turned the tide on the rest of his team, talking about how every player on his team needs to play better, but not once in that response did he take any sort of blame for himself.

Notre Dame football fans reminded again why its good that Brian Kelly is gone

"Garrett Nussmeier's got to play better. Every player on offense has got to play better," Kelly said in his post-game press conference.

The confusing part of his response was that at the end, it seemed like Kelly was not placing blame on Nussmeier, but just simply on every other player on LSU for not playing hard enough.

"This is not a Garrett Nussmeier problem; this is an entire football team of guys doing their job at a higher level," Kelly said.

Well, if anyone else is confused about what Kelly said, please raise your hand because he seemed to be talking in circles just so he didn't take the blame. Kelly even placed blame on his other coaches, saying that they aren't getting guys where they need to be in order to compete at a higher level.

What Kelly needs to realize is that anytime a team loses are fails, it is always going to come back to the head coach, and it seems he is just trying to dodge the hot seat. Typically, when someone tries to dodge the hot seat, that is exactly where they end up.

LSU lost to Ole Miss, and that is tough for Tiger fans; however, in this day of college football, one loss doesn't doom a team anymore with the 12-team College Football Playoff. However, this team could lose a lot more games if they start to distrust their head coach because he just throws them under the bus anytime he can to keep the spotlight off of himself.

Notre Dame football is probably pretty happy to be rid of Kelly right now, even if they have to deal with a 2-2 record so far this season.
