Notre Dame is heading into a matchup against Boise State with a 2-2 record, while the Broncos are coming in with a 3-1 record. Boise State is coming off a College Football Playoff appearance last season, but they are missing one key piece of their offense, Ashton Jeanty, who is currently the starting running back for the Las Vegas Raiders.
Even though the Fighting Irish have dropped two games so far this season, their offense has exploded over the last two weeks in their wins, and Boise State head coach Spencer Danielson has noticed.
In his weekly press conference previewing the upcoming matchup, Danielson spoke about many of the players on the Notre Dame offense, from Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price to CJ Carr, even giving some high praise as to where they will be drafted when they choose to go pro. Danielson basically admitted to knowing this would be an extremely tough game for the Broncos.
"We got out work cut out for us defensively," Danielson said in his press conference.
Notre Dame has arrived at a place where opposing coaches rant and rave about the Irish offense.

Danielson gave very high praise to Love and Price, saying they are the two best running backs his team will see all season long, and he isn't necessarily wrong. Love and Price are probably one of the best, if not the best, running back duos this season, with a combined 11 touchdowns and 614 rushing yards.
Love is leading the way with 341 rushing yards, but Price beats out Love by one touchdown with six so far on the season. The run game has been huge for the Fighting Irish and has really helped open up more opportunities in the passing game for CJ Carr.
Danielson's comments about this game make it seem like he already knows this game could be a loss for his team. However, this is college football, and anything can happen. Last season, Notre Dame lost to Northern Illinois, so Boise State won't be a cakewalk for the Fighting Irish, but if they come out and play offense like they have the last two weeks, they have a great chance at getting the win.
