Outside of one game this season, former Notre Dame football star Cole Kmet hadn't been all that impactful for his Chicago Bears. That changed in a big way on Sunday morning, when he was called on to do a bit of double duty for the NFL team.

Kmet entered the game with just 21 catches on the season for 219 yards and a touchdown. He exited the Bears' win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, showing that he's still someone other teams will need to keep track of. And he showed that he can do more than one thing at once.

Travis Hunter, eat your heart out. The former Notre Dame football star showed he can play on more than one side of the ball as well.

Ex-Notre Dame football star Cole Kmet stands out on Sunday morning

First of all, Kmet had to stand in as the long snapper, as the starting long snapper for the bears left the game early on with an injury. However, before he even really got to show what he can do at that position, he caught his first touchdown of the day.

The 31 yard pass in the second quarter allowed the Bears to take a 7-3 lead. He followed that up with another TD catch from the 2 yard line that gave Chicago a 14-3 lead. And of course, he was the long snapper for both extra point attempts.

It was the just the fifth time in the former Notre Dame football star's pro career he had two touchdown catches. It was also the first time since Novembrer of last season. And now the former Fighting Irish stud might be showing that he and Caleb Williams are forming quite the duo.
