All eyes are on Notre Dame this weekend before the College Football Playoff bracket reveal on Sunday, and the Fighting Irish aren't even playing in a game. The latest College Football Playoff rankings revealed that the committee dropped Notre Dame one spot below Alabama, actually putting the Irish's chances at the CFP in serious jeopardy.
Enough chaos on championship weekend could leave Notre Dame out of the playoff, but there is also talk of Miami potentially jumping the Irish because of their head-to-head matchup in the first game of the season. This is all troublesome, not just for the fans, but for the team as well, but Marcus Freeman has coached his guys well enough to not let anyone see them sweat.
Running backs Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price joined ESPN's "Unsportsmanlike" show and spoke about how the Irish are feeling heading into this final weekend before the bracket reveal. If the players are worried, they certainly aren't letting the world see.
Jeremiyah Love knows that the world wants to see Notre Dame in the CFP
"We know these next three days we're gonna go to work like we're preparing for a national championship." 🏆

Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman has done everything he needed to in order to get his team back on track after two losses to start off the season. The Irish have won 10 straight games, and they weren't close wins; they were winning in blowout fashion.
Both Love and Price spoke about where the team's head is at heading into this weekend, and they believe they have every right to be in the playoffs over other teams like Miami. Love even made a bold statement about how all college football fans feel on seeing Notre Dame in the CFP.
"It would suck to keep us out, I mean, people want to see us," Love said. "We got great players, we got a great coach, people want to see Notre Dame out there playing."
Love isn't wrong. Notre Dame is looking like one of the best teams in college football right now with the growth they have shown this season. The defense struggled early on, which is what resulted in those two early losses. Now, Chris Ash has his defensive unit looking like one of the top in the country.
The offense has steadily gotten better as well, with Love and Price in the backfield, but also, young CJ Carr has come more into form this season, looking like he has been playing college football for years. Price shared that it is business as usual for Notre Dame, and in their minds, they are already in.
"We know these next three days, we're gonna go to work like we're preparing for a National Championship," Price said.
That is all Notre Dame can do at this point is prepare for the best and then handle the worst if that moment comes, but Freeman is always going to have his team ready to go no matter what.
