Notre Dame fans have a lot to be thankful for this year, from CJ Carr to Jeremiyah Love, and of course, we can't forget about their fearless leader, Marcus Freeman. With the insanity of the coaching carousel this season, there have certainly been times that Fighting Irish fans have stressed and fear that Freeman could be on the move to his next opportunity.
It makes total sense that many programs would want Freeman, even NFL organizations are looking at him, but the Notre Dame head coach has made it pretty clear that he is focused on the Fighting Irish and not making any plans to go anywhere.
When asked what he was thankful for this year, Freeman gave Notre Dame fans the exact answer they would have been hoping for, making them feel even more secure about his future in South Bend.

The Fighting Irish get to partake in yet another rivalry game this weekend, this time against Stanford, in order to try and win the Legends Trophy. Of course, fans and head coach Marcus Freeman are thankful for this opportunity, but it's what Freeman followed with after that that will make fans smile from ear to ear.
Freeman made sure to express his deep gratitude for his opportunities at Notre Dame and for being able to be the coach of a great group of guys in South Bend.
"The gratitude I have to be a part of this program, to lead this program, to be a part of this group of coaches and players, and staff members, but also this university," Freeman said. "What it stands for, the people it impacts, and I am grateful for that."
Notre Dame certainly is grateful for Freeman as well and everything he has done for this program. Of course, he is great on the field when it comes to winning games and also on the recruiting trail when it comes to bringing great players in. However, Freeman is also simply a great guy off the field, as well as in how he teaches these players to be great men later in life.
