The Notre Dame football program is having quite a run on the recruiting trail in recent weeks. Monday, the Fighting Irish picked up their fourth verbal commitment of April when wide receiver Bubba Frazier announced his intention to call South Bend home.
A 4-star prospect from Savannah, Georgia, Frazier is listed by the 247Sports.com composite rankings as the No. 373 overall player and No. 58 receiver in the class of 2026. Checking in at 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, he projects as a slot receiver at the college level.
As a junior, he hauled in 46 passes for 753 yards and five touchdowns. Additionally, he had 85 carries for 604 yards and eight touchdowns.
Speed is the name of the game for Frazier. At a recent camp, he reportedly ran a 4.43 40-yard dash. What's more, 247Sports reports that he recorded a 10.80-second time in the 100, a 22.14-second time in the 200, and a 51.85-second time in the 400 while running track. That type of explosiveness made him one of the most coveted receivers in the country.

In addition to Notre Dame, Frazier holds offers from Auburn, Georgia, Central Florida, West Virginia, and others. Interestingly, though, he has only recently been courted by Freeman and his program.
In fact, Frazier didn't pick up an offer from the Irish until late February. However, that didn't keep Notre Dame from winning this recruiting battle.
With Frazier now in the mix, the Irish have the No. 3 overall high school recruiting class in the nation, trailing only Southern California and Clemson. There are now eleven players committed to the Irish for 2026, with nine of them being 4-star recruits according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
Though he is one of the more impressive receivers in his class, Frazier is only the ninth-highest-rated player in the Notre Dame recruiting haul. That is an indication of just how loaded the 2026 class is for Freeman and Co.
Having added four players to the mix since April 5, Notre Dame is blazing hot on the recruiting trail right now. Thus, Irish fans should keep their heads on a swivel because the next commit could come at any moment, given the roll that Freeman is on as of late.
