Not only is Niele Ivey a very good Notre Dame Fighting Irish basketball coach, but she’s also a very proud basketball mom. It’s a safe bet that she’s thrilled with the way her team is playing and thrilled with the way her son is playing.

In regards to the latter, she’s got a brand new reason to be very proud of her son, Jaden. The former Purdue Boilermaker is making a name for himself in the NBA and recently he added to his legend by draining a buzzer-beater that handed his Detroit Pistons a big win.

Jaden hit a baseline buzzer beater earlier this week to help the Detroit Pistons defeat the Toronto Raptors, 102-100. It capped a night in which he led the Pistons with 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting from the field and led all players with eight assists. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish coach’s son has been having his best year as a pro so far and that was his best game of the season.
