Not long after the Notre Dame Fighting Irish lost linebackers coach Max Bullough to Michigan State, the Blue and Gold lost another assistant. According to John Brice, up-and-coming staffer Tre Reader is going to East Lansing as well.
Reader will be the assistant linebackers' coach under Bullough, much like he assisted the coach in South Bend.
Jalen Haralson leads the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to third straight win.
Without star guard Markus Burton, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish basketball team struggled a bit against the Idaho Vandals squad on Wednesday night.
Jalen Haralson scored 20 points, Carson Towt had 19 points and 15 rebounds, and Notre Dame pulled away late to beat Idaho 80-65. The win means that the Irish are 8-3 on the season and are on a three-game winning streak, the first time they've ever gotten AP Top 25 votes in the Micah Shrewsberry era.
ACC feud adds another chapter
After Notre Dame AD Pete Bevacqua came out and blasted the ACC on Tuesday, the conference's commissioner tried to do a little damage control and, in the process, said that he supports playoff expansion.
The problem is that his words are too little, too late. Jim Phillips tried to make peace, but the Irish don't seem like they're ready to do that just yet.
Matt Leinart blasts Notre Dame Fighting Irish
While former USC quarterback and now commentator Matt Leinart believes that the Notre Dame Fighting Irish deserve to be in the playoffs, he's not a fan of them deciding not to go to a bowl once they suffered the snub. On social media, he posted something short and sweet saying simply, "what a terrible look" about the bow out.
