At least one major publication considers one of the units that some would think has the most significant question marks for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team to be one of its strengths.
Earlier this week, Athlon Sports did its annual ranking of individual units. Joe Rudolph’s squad was named the best returning offensive line.
That might surprise some Notre Dame Fighting Irish fans who watched the team lose several players who were starters on the line in 2024. However, the bottom line is that injuries forced many players into a starting role, usually the backups. Those starters are expected back and healthy in 2025.
