While Benjamin Morrison is getting ready to talk to NFL teams and really let everyone know what he’s about, the former Notre Dame football star is also busy talking up one of his young teammates. In particular, he’s quite impressed with the guy who stepped in and helped lead the Irish to the national championship game when Morrison went down with a hip injury.
Morrison obviously talked about what he could bring to an NFL team. But he wanted everyone to realize what Leonard Moore is going to offer, once it’s his time to go to the NFL Combine.
Moore impressed a ton of people this year. That includes his Notre Dame football teammates.

Notre Dame star talks up young teammate at NFL Combine
“Yeah, he just reminded me a lot of myself. I mean, he came in with his head on straight, head down, wasn't trying to be someone he wasn't. He will be up here in two years. He will be, I'm going to say this, he'll probably be the best cornerback in that draft class. And, I mean, his preparation speaks for himself. I mean, for him to come do what he did this year was truly remarkable, and I'm so proud of that kid, being able to be his roommate, just being a small little part of all the success he had, truly brought me a lot of joy.”
That is certainly high praise for a talented freshman in the Irish secondary. If anyone on the team can assess how good Moore is going to be it would be Morrison.
Sounds like the next couple of years are going to be very, very fun for Notre Dame football fans.
