Plenty of analysts believe Notre Dame will have an excellent 2026 season. Count Brett McMurphy among those who believe the Fighting Irish will even win the National Title when all is said and done.

Most analysts have predicted Marcus Freeman's team to make some noise in the College Football Playoff, but McMurphy stands as one of the only ones who has them winning the entire party.

McMurphy released his "way too early" CFP and bowl game picks earlier this week, and one Reddit user brought all of his picks to light. The On3 analyst also thinks that Notre Dame will essentially go wire to wire in the playoffs as they'll be the No. 1 seed heading into the CFP.

Notre Dame football earns national title prediction from analyst Brett McMurphy

McMurphy first has Notre Dame going toe-to-toe with No. 8 seed Oregon before facing off against No. 4 Miami in the next round. The Irish, according to the analyst, will then face off against Georgia in the National Championship Game in what will be a 1 vs 2 title tilt.

The analyst's prediction that Marcus Freeman and company will be on top of the heap when the smoke clears is just the latest positive prediction for the Fighting Irish. This prediction goes along with those who believe guys like CJ Carr will step up and win the Heisman.

Now that spring practice is almost here, it's clear that the spotlight is on Notre Dame like it hasn't been for a long time. With a favorable schedule and a ton of returning talent, it's National Champs or bust.
