The Notre Dame football team took care of business. They beat the Florida State Seminoles in a big way. It was in fact, the biggest way of the entire now-12 game series between the two schools.

The Irisn’s 52-3 was such a laugher that more than a few Blue and Gold fans decided to have a little fun. Of course, that brand of fun is almost certainly not appreciated by ‘Noles fans. The problem is that at 1-9, there’s not much they can do about it.

While the Notre Dame football team was dismantling Florida State, Irish fans showed that while the team teams haven’t faced off all that often, there’s a bit of bad blood. That bad blood surfaced when severan Blue and Gold supporters started doing the Tomahawk Chop and warchant.

Twitter user Ryan Fravel captured the moment when Irish fans started making fun of Florida State and throwing back their very famous tradition into their faces. It took no time at all for social media to seize on it and many, many Notre Dame fans have something to say about the situation.

Some FSU fans apparently didn't take it well at all.

Some ND fans knew doing the chant and the chop was simply cold hearted.

The best trolling

Disrespectful but, that's ok

Because of the oddities of Notre Dame football and the ACC schedule, the two teams won't face off against each other next season. However, the Irish do travel to Doak Campbell stadium in 2026. One would think FSU's fans will remember last night.
