Notre Dame football flip target gives a massive hint about his future

One potential Notre Dame football flip posted a hint that he could be going wherever a certain coach goes.

Notre Dame football hasn’t made the hire of Ja’Juan Seider as its running backs coach, but when it does, it’s looking more and more likely that they’re getting a big running back recruit as a package deal.

Since the talk that Seider was replacing Deland McCullough started, there has been one recruit in Messiah Mickens that Irish fans have drawn a bead on. And now it looks like the 4-star running back is paying quite a bit of attention.

On Monday night, Mickens took to social media and posted a very quick message. Despite it being quick - in fact just two words and an emoji - that message carried a lot of weight for Notre Dame football fans. The message said simply “my guy,” and an emoji that meant “united” or “together.” Along with that message and emoji was a picture of none other than current Penn State running backs coach Ja’Juan Seider.

Notre Dame football flip prospect Messiah Mickens sends massive message

Assuming that Seider is still on the menu for Notre Dame, the message Mickens sent out certainly seems to mean that if the position coach does make the move from State College to South Bend, the running back prospect could follow him.

It’s clear that quite a few of Mickens’ followers took that to be the message as well. Several responded making their pitch and the vast majority of them think the Pennsylvania native is gone.

“It's the name on the front not the name on the back .... best of luck kid but there is only one Penn State,” wrote one follower.

“That guy just turned his back on Penn State. For a lateral move. He's your guy?” Another fan wrote, clearly angry about Seider possibly being on the move and taking Messiah Mickens with him.

It’s clear that PSU fans are not remotely happy about Seider leaving and taking Mickens with him. That should be all the reason Notre Dame football needs to turn up the heat and get it all done.
