Jeremiyah Love is the freshest rookie face for the Arizona Cardinals, though he's talking like a veteran, and his teammates and coaches say he's looking like one. Some of that wisdom beyond his years comes from how the former Notre Dame star running back is handling his newfound riches. Some of it is how quickly he's adjusting and learning his new team's playbook.
Jeremiyah Love credits Notre Dame football for helping him adjust to the NFL quickly
Love recently spoke about the latter, saying that the transition from the Fighting Irish to the NFL isn't as hard for him as it might be for someone from another school?e, being the humble man that is, he wasn't bragging for himself, but had nothing but praise for the coaching staff that tutored him in South Bend.
"I mean, for me, the things that I know now, you know, it's I mean, I feel like football knowledge is universal, no matter what team you go to. You know, I went to Notre Dame. was blessed to be coached by [Mike] Denbrock. You know, we had a great offense. So a lot of the same rules and kind of verbiage are the same as they are now, just. Just different wording," Love said.
"I mean, the switch over to the NFL. It's been pretty seamless for me. I picked up everything pretty fast, you know, from protections to runs. I mean, all the runs are the same. It's just called differently. So it's pretty easy for me."

"But as a, I mean, as a player. I feel like, if you weren't, in an environment where people were really teaching you about actual football, it would probably be pretty hard. But for me, I was blessed with great coaches. Y'know I went to Notre Dame."
Jeremiyah Love has impressed one person after another with the way he's handled things since moving on from Notre Dame. He's said all the right things and has looked like the star the Cardinals thought they were drafting. It won't be too long before the Fighting Irish fans get to see what he can do for real in the NFL.
