Jeremiyah Love has only gained more believers after his fantastic performance at the NFL Combine this past weekend. Count ESPN analyst and Notre Dame father Ryan Clark among those who believe the running back is the best player in the draft.

The analyst's son, Jordan Clark, played defensive back for the Irish alongside Love, and because of that, Ryan explained that he's gotten to see the running back up close and personal often. That Love had a great Combine only cemented what he already thought about the Heisman finalist.

"Jeremiyah Love is the best player in this draft, and it really ain't close," Clark said in a video he posted on Twitter Sunday afternoon. "He was the best player in college football, too. It was actually underutilization at Notre Dame that probably cost him the Heisman, but it's going to help him make an immediate impact as a rookie in the league."

Ryan Clark's unique Notre Dame connection makes his praise of Jeremiyah Love hard to ignore

"Dude averaged 9. 1 yards per carry against light boxes," Clark explained, making it clear he believes that NFL teams won't be able to defend the Irish star by loading up defenders at the line of scrimmage.

"Actually four and a half after contact because he's that dang talented," Clark added. "And it's not just the talent. Great household, super intelligent, but his parents raised an absolute dog."

Clark then said that the Notre Dame star is pound-for-pound as good as the best running backs in the NFL. "We talking Christian McCaffrey. Barkley. We're talking ... Bijan Robinson, Derrick Henry, all of these dudes that we put at the top of the top."

Clark is far from the only ex-player who has seen enough from Jeremiyah Love to be convinced he'll be a heck of an NFL player. Count Hall-of-Fame Joe Montana among those who know exactly what the Notre Dame superstar can do with the ball in his hands.
