Things haven't gone the way the Notre Dame football program had hoped on the field, but off the field, they continue to have a strong hold on 5-star commits like Khary Adams.

The hold is so strong that some of the commits are even making fun of people who allude to their potential flipping. Adams is one of those that other programs would love to see change schools. However, on Wednesday he made it clear he's sticking to the Fighting Irish in the funniest way possible.

On X, Adams quoted a post from someone who was asking if there was any truth to the idea that he might flip to Michigan. In his quoted post he posted a picture from a show that had the caption "our brains are shrinking." The meaning couldn't be clearer from the Notre Dame commit.

The 5-star prospect, in the 247Sports Composite Rankings, would be a huge get for any team, but it looks like he’s going to be staying with the Irish. In the process he becomes just the latest commit who has fought off any talk that he might not sign with Notre Dame come December.

It's one of those things that shows that Marcus Freeman and Co. are doing things the right way. Once they get the pledge of the players they're working on, they're very solid.

The Notre Dame football team is still very much on a teeter-totter in the 2025 regular season. Their 2026 recruiting class, however, continues to be one of the best in the country.
