While the Notre Dame football team gets ready to take on the Miami Hurricanes, tons of people are very excited about seeing what happens on Sunday night. Fans of the two teams, as well as college football, are obviously gearing up for what they hope is a good game. Executives from NFL teams are also plenty excited to see what two of the expected best teams in the sport this year have to offer.
While the Irish's game against the 'Canes isn't the only game that scouts and execs are taking in this weekend, it's a game that has some of the most NFL people checking in.
Notre Dame vs. Miami will be heavily scouted by NFL teams
According to ESPN NFL insider Pete Thamel, the league is deploying a grand total of 96 scouts and 11 general managers to three games this weekend: No. 3 Ohio State vs. No. 1 Texas, No. 4 Clemson vs. No. 9 LSU, and then No. 6 Notre Dame vs No. 10 Miami.
According to Jack Soble, Ryan Poles of the Chicago Bears, Joe Schoen of the New York Giants, Brandon Beane of the Buffalo Bills, and Brian Gutekunst of the Green Bay Packers will all be in attendance. Bears assistant GM Ian Cunningham is on the list of visitors as well.
While there isn't a name attached to some of the other people visiting the game, it's thought that members of the Ravens, 49ers, Jets, Panthers, Steelers, Lions, Broncos, Texans, Commanders, Chargers, and Browns will all be in attendance.
The Notre Dame football team has a lot riding on the line on Sunday night. That includes the future of several players who have dreams of playing at the next level.
