Long a commit for the Notre Dame football team, Noah Grubbs just kicked off his final high school season with an incredible comeback. In the process, the 2026 4-star prospect demonstrated exactly why Marcus Freeman and Co. are so high on the Florida prospect.
Grubbs' Lake Mary team is expected to be one of the best in the state at its level, but started the season off looking like they might suffer a painful upset to the Norland Vikings. However, the Rams' big-armed hero put up massive numbers in the final moments of the Friday night showdown.
Notre Dame football commit Noah Grubbs led a stunning comeback in his 2025 season opener
The Notre Dame commit's team struggled out of the gate, eventually trailing 29-7 with just eight minutes to go in the game. However, Noah Grubbs showed the never say die attitude that the Fighting Irish want in South Bend.

Grubbs is ranked as the nation's No. 257 overall player in the Rivals Industry Rankings, but with more games like this one during his senior year, he could make a big jump. The Notre Dame football team's quarterback room will get deeper when he arrives on campus, with plenty of fanfare. With his team already 1-0 to start the 2025 campaign, it will certainly be interesting to see what they can build from here.
