In this Notre Dame football game against Penn State there have been some ugly plays and there have been some pretty plays. The ugly plays have mostly come on the defensive side of the field.
Whether we’re talking about far too many missed tackles, or getting called for pass interference when it was clearly not pass interference, or not getting holding called despite the defender’s jersey nearly being ripped off his body.
However, when it comes to pretty plays, there was Jeremiyah Love’s touchdown run where he could not be denied. And then there was the absolute work of art created by Notre Dame football wide receiver Jaden Greathouse on the game-tying touchdown.

On second and eight from their own 40, down 24-17 to the Nittany Lions, Riley Leonard let his prettiest pass of the season rip to a wide open Greathouse.
But that wasn’t what made it art. What made it art was the head fake that Greathouse gave the Penn State defender Cam Miller (who has been under fire from Penn State fans for a while now) that not only allowed him to blow past for a 54-yard touchdown but Miller fell down onto his butt and then just sat there as Greathouse … took it to the house.
The touchdown not only tied what has been a back and forth game, but it gave Notre Dame football a shot of momentum that allowed them to get their heads back in the game after it looked like it might have been over.
