The college football season, as of today, is still 66 days away, and that is for the Week 0 games. For Notre Dame's first game, they are still 73 days away as the Fighting Irish will not play in Week 0 this upcoming football season. With all of that being said, it is clear all college football fans are ready for one thing.
The return of college football.
With recruiting being the only amount of news coming out of college football programs right now, fans are starving for any other piece of news they can get. Some programs are starting workouts now in the summertime as the new freshmen are moving in and getting acclimated to college life.
Notre Dame released a video from one of their workout sessions, and it may make fans miss football even more, but it will also fire up the Fighting Irish fans for Week 1 of the season.

Notre Dame is coming off a highlight season, but is ready for more
There is no doubt that last season was one of the best for Notre Dame in a while. It resulted in a National Championship appearance in the first-ever 12-team College Football Playoff without even having a first-round bye. However, that is not where Notre Dame anted to end things.
Notre Dame is ready for a National Championship, not just an appearance, and the Fighting Irish believe that they can do the job this next season. Marcus Freeman has done the work this offseason, and as shown in the workout video, the team is putting in the work as well.
As said in the video, the players want to get one percent better, not five percent worse. Getting one percent better every day will put Notre Dame in the spot they want to be this next season, and might even hoist the trophy at the end of the season.
