Notre Dame football players have talked about the edge they want to take into the game against USC. They want to make sure physicality is the keyword

And now, the program is demonstrating that their season finale against the Trojans is “strictly business.” That’s the theme of the latest game trailer released by the athletic department just ahead of the final game of the 2024 season ahead of the playoffs.

Like the Notre Dame social media team has done all year, they released its game trailer on Friday morning with another old-school hip-hop song as their background. This time they used another EPMD song entitled “Strictly Business,” as it’s clear this is the focus for the Irish this weekend. The tweet’s caption made it clear that’s the goal.

Notre Dame football going for strictly business against USC

If the Fighting Irish are able to handle their business, a ticket will be punched to the college football playoff. That is of course, the ultimate goal, especially considering how things seemed to go off the rails briefly with the loss to Northern Illinois in Week 2.

Should Marcus Freeman and his gang get the win, not only will they make the playoffs. There’s a very good chance they’ll host a playoff game. The craziness that’s seemingly taking place every weekend has only made that more likely.

Just a few moments before the Notre Dame football team kicks off against its hated rival. Take care of business and things get very, very interesting very quickly.
