The vibes surrounding the Notre Dame football team could not be better right now. In a little over a week, the Fighting Irish will take the field against Miami in what's sure to be a great showdown. Is a primetime win on the way for Marcus Freeman and his players?
We can't wait to find out. Oh, and for fans making their way to Florida, there's some new gear you'll be able to purchase. Confused? On Thursday morning, Notre Dame announced that new team-specific logos will be showcased for everyone to enjoy. Take a look at the football one and try not to be impressed. Yup, it indeed is a thing of beauty:

A new Notre Dame football logo is here and fans are loving it
A quick look on social media shows that people are pretty darn happy with the decision that's been made. You're not alone if you're already searching for where you can buy some stuff with this new logo being donned on it.
As for the action on the field, Notre Dame remains a small favorite over Miami after announcing that CJ Carr will be the starting quarterback this season over Kenny Minchey. Some Notre Dame supporters are a bit worried about the call, but some nerves were calmed with Greg McElroy giving Carr a fantastic review.
The Hurricanes will of course be sending out Carson Beck to run the offense, as he's getting ready for his first game working with Mario Cristobal after leaving Georgia. The Notre Dame defense is going to be ready to give Beck all kinds of problems in Miami.
After losing in the National Championship Game last season, Notre Dame is hoping to get the job done this year. It will be on Carr to get this offense where it needs to be, while Jeremiyah Love will surely be taking a lot of pressure off of him. Fans can't wait for Week 1 to get here and this new logo has them even more pumped up for things to arrive.
