Notre Dame's latest transfer portal miss feels like the most deflating one yet

Yet another one slips through the grasp of Notre Dame.

Let us know if you are getting tired of hearing this because we are certainly tired of saying it, but Notre Dame still can't find any luck in the Transfer Portal. Even when the Irish thought they finally had a commitment out of the portal, it turns out maybe he could be going elsewhere.

Again, we are sure you have heard this before as well, but Notre Dame has lost out on another player in the Transfer Portal, who they offered just recently. Defensive lineman Ezra Christensen has officially committed to Colorado, even though the Irish were making a push for him.

This seems to be a common theme for the Irish since the Transfer Portal opened a week ago. There have been many players that head coach Marcus Freeman has gone after, but the elite recruiter, for some reason, can't get anyone to stick with South Bend.

Notre Dame has focused a lot on the defensive side of the ball, more specifically the defensive line, as well as the wide receiver room in the portal. However, they haven't been able to land either out of the portal yet.

The brand that Notre Dame is should be extremely appearling to anyone in the Transfer portal, especially a kid that has no power conference experience. Christensen might not have been the highest ranked player in the portal, but this loss somehow feels a little worse than the others.

Notre Dame can't even keep up with their offers. Christensen committed one day after being offered by the Irish. At this point, Notre Dame is going to have a very young team next season, with this recruiting class getting some big opportunities to play early.
