The Notre Dame football team needs a win on Saturday night over the Texas A&M Aggies to send a message to the rest of the college football world. According to the ESPN College GameDay crew (or at least most of them), the Irish will do just that.
As has been the tradition for decades now, the experts on the GameDay panel pick the biggest games of the day at the end of the show. Saturday morning was no different in Week 3.
As the panel went through the games, they mostly agreed on every game, with Pat McAfee standing out as the lone voice against the majority of several games. As it turned out, one area where he was going against the group was when he picked the Texas A&M Aggies to pull off the upset against the Notre Dame football team.

While McAfee decided that the Irish would get upset in South Bend, Nick Saban, Desmond Howard, Rece Davis, and even guest pick Candace Parker all picked the Blue and Gold to get the win.
The analysts who picked Marcus Freeman and Co. all said roughly the same thing. They all understand this is a big game for Notre Dame and believe that the Irish, with two weeks to prepare for the game, will be more than ready.
The Notre Dame football team will look to make most of the ESPN analysts look good on Saturday night. And while he needs little help looking foolish, they'll hope to make Pat McAfee look wrong as usual.
