Former Notre Dame football lineman Zack Martin has taken the ability to push guys around to the next level for a while now. He’s long been one of the best offensive lineman in the National Football Leaguge.

Earlier this week, he was recognized for those accomplishments one more time as he was included in this year’s Top 100 players in the NFL. He wasn’t low on the list either. The former Fighting Irish star was named No. 53 on the list, making him one of the highest ranked offensive linemen in the league. What else does that ranking tell us?

Former Notre Dame football player is highest ranked Dallas Cowboy

Zack Martin is the first member of the Cowboys on the list. Though there are several other players who could soon follow. According to beat writer Brandon Loree, there are a couple of teammates for the former Notre Dame football star who could follow.

DaRon Bland, Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and Micah Parsons could and should all be on the list somewhere. The question is where exactly the rest of the Dallas players will pop up.

He’s a leader among other Cowboys offensive linemen

As Dallas begins camp, there are some players the team is looking to step up. Among those is left guard Tyler Smith. Count Martin among those who believe he’s going to take a big step up in 2024. In doing so, Martin continued to show what a leader looks like.

“He can take a big step,” Martin told the media earlier this week. “He was dominant last year. Really dominant. But he can get better, that’s the scary thing. I think he’s one of the top guys in the league, and he’s gonna be there for a while. The sky’s the limit for that guy.”

Ex-Notre Dame football-er is truly the best among the best

Just how good has Martin been? The former Notre Dame football star has been to more Pro Bowls (9 times) than hes’ committed penalties in his career. All of this leads to the potential for one hell of a 2024 season.
