Joe Alt and 7 other Notre Dame Fighting Irish players invited to the 2024 NFL Combine
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are going to have quite the contingent heading to the 2024 NFL combine later this month. In fact, it turns out this will be the most players that have been invited to the combine since the 2021 offseason.
The group is going to be headlined by offensive lineman Joe Alt, who is expected to be a first round pick by most NFL Mock Drafts. In fact, almost all of them have Alt going number 7, to the Tennessee Titans.
Audric Estime is likely to be the guy who can most help himself during the combine. He had a rather incredible season for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish but seems to still be someone that NFL scouts aren't totally sold on.
The guy that might need the most help is almost certainly Sam Hartman. The former Wake Forest quarterback came to South Bend hoping to compete for a national championship while also boosting his profile and his future at the next level.
Most mock drafts don't seem to believe Hartman did that. The Notre Dame football star had a solid season, but he didn't put up eye-popping numbers and is thought to be going rather late in the 2024 NFL draft.
