On Thursday night, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish finished up its non-conference season with a 9-1 record thanks to a 84-47 win over Western Michigan. That win was impressive enough but it was the HannahHidalgo stole the show.

The freshman guard nabbed her first triple-double of her young career — 26 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. But that wasn't allo she also had 5 steals. Hidalgo now has three performances of 25-5-5-5, two more than anyone else in the nation.

By the end of the first half, Hannah Hidalgo led all players with 17 points, shooting 7-13 from the floor. She also had 6 rebounds and helped her team go to the locker room with a 41-24 lead. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish didn't let their feet off the gas as they cruised to a 43-23 second-half advantage.

Thursday night was just another big night for Hannah Hidalgo in what has been an incredible season. This year she's averaging 23.6 points per game as well as 5.9 rebounds and 5.8 assists. She's also shooting over 50 percent from the field.

That's been enough for Hidalgo to be named ACC rookie of the week numerous times. Now she gets a little break for the holidays and then the real conference season begins.
