Notre Dame football and Texas A&M don't face each other very often at all, but one Irish player has a dislike of the Aggies all the same.

Obviously, all of the Notre Dame football team wants to beat Texas A&M on Saturday night. They want to start the season 1-0 and begin their march to the playoffs. And they want to prove that they can stand up to the best of the best after a season that saw them lose to Ohio State, Louisville and Clemson.

However, it's possible there's one member of the Fighting Irish who feels like the game means more than most. Jadarian Price is returning to his home state on Saturday. He played high school ball in Texas and during his time there, ran for almost 5,000 yards and 55 touchdowns.

Despite those numbers, one of the reasons Notre Dame football was able to land Price, was because neither the Texas Longhorns or the Texas A&M Aggies made much of an effort to land him. He remembers that. And he's using it as motivation on Saturday.

Price recently spoke to the media about the things he's feeling as he prepares for the game.

"It's a little chip on my shoulder because I never got much recruitment or visitation from them (the Aggies) but there's a lot of people in my hometown who went there, you know alumni and fans there so it will be a pretty good sight to see. I have a lot of people who are coming to that game."

One of the most interesting thing to see while the Notre Dame football running back spoke was how his face changed. At first he was smiling and sort of laughing. You'd be forgiven if you thought he was joking. But as he spoke, it became obvious that the game is indeed an important one to him and he'll be looking to deliver a message.
