Notre Dame football quarterback Riley Leonard obviously has his mind on the Texas A&M game this morning. But when he’s not preparing for the next Irish opponent or throwing touchdowns in the game, the former Duke Blue Devil has a new name and image likeness deal.

That deal is going to be quite popular for Blue and Gold fans who are looking for a new lid.

Earlier this week, the Notre Dame football gunslinger officially announced a team up with hat maker New Era as a brand ambassador. Leonard announced the partnership in a video on his social media

Notre Dame doesn't publicly talk a ton about its NIL game. However, there have been signs that it’s getting a lot better, especially in the last year. Leonard is also someone who has already gotten quite a few deals, especially apparel NIL contracts.

These kinds of deals are always interesting because they may not really even go into the calculations when talking about who is getting NIL money and who isn’t. This is technically outside the university.

Leonard is getting these kinds of deals despite ever taking a snap for the Irish. One has to think the offers are really going to start rolling in if he leads the Golden Domers to success in 2024.

There are few programs that are higher profile than Notre Dame football. The quarterback that leads them back to greatness is going to have money throw at him to a ridiculous degree.
