While Week 1 of the college football season didn't bring much excitement, Week 2 had plenty to offer viewers, especially when it came to the AP Top 25 rankings. Most interesting about this week is that even when two Top 25 teams didn't face off, there was still enough action to cause some serious shakeups.
Of course, the biggest shakeup in the AP Top 25 was right at the top of the list. While Ohio State led for almost the entire game on Saturday night against Texas, the Longhorns took the lead with 30 seconds left, and that was enough for them to win and knock off the No. 1 team in the country.
That makes the biggest question of the week, "Who will replace the Buckeyes at the top of the AP Top 25 Rankings?" It's even possible the answer is Notre Dame, but that seems rather unlikely, even if they posted a 52-0 win on Saturday night.

Week 2 AP Top 25 sees a big shakeup, which is good for Notre Dame football
- Oregon was in the Top 10 after dropping four spots following its less-than-impressive win over Boise State. With the loss to Oklahoma State (that was a domination), it wouldn't be shocking to see the Ducks drop out entirely. However, considering how high they were, it seems more likely they'll see a big drop.
- Oklahoma is a bit of a similar boat after they lost to the same Michigan team that really lost to Western Michigan in Week 1. They'll likely take a tumble, and it's posible the Wolverines will replace the Sooners in the AP Top 25. However, hopefully, the pollsters will still remember that Bryce Underwood and company have scored a grand total of 30 points in two games and not move them in just yet.
- Notre Dame and Georgia both have a claim to No. 1 in the AP Top 25 rankings, but it makes quite a bit of sense that Texas will jump everyone and become the kings of the hill. Steve Sarkisian's squad will likely get the benefit of the doubt and get to occupy the top spot in the country.
